South Metro Grass Fire

On August 3rd, 2025 at approximately 14:00 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported grass fire at Look Out Park, 5455 S. Riviera Way. Units were on scene about forty five minutes extinguishing the fire and mopping up. Neighbors reported that kids had been in the park setting off fireworks but the incident is under investigation for the cause. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
