South Metro Residential Fire

On August 21st, 2025 at approximately 19:25 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 5700 block of S. Odessa St. in the Parkborough neighborhood. Engine 22 arrived on scene and observed smoke coming from the eves. Crews were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. One adult male was detained at the scene by law enforcement.
