Interstate 70 Semi Fire

On April 8th, 2025 around 17:25 Arvada Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a semi on fire on I-70 westbound at the Hwy. 58 on ramp in Wheat Ridge. Truck 60 arrived to a full involved tractor trailer fire and pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack. Engine 51 arrived and set-up the water supply to Truck 60. The fire was quickly put under control and out. One minor injury was reported without a transport. I-70 was shut down to westbound traffic during the incident.
