West Metro Apartment Fire

On November 29th, 2025 at 11:07 West Metro Fire Rescue and Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 2600 block of Paramount Parkway at the Paramount Gardens Apartments in Wheat Ridge. Jeffcom 911 reported that 911 caller saying smoke coming from the first floor. Engine 17 arrived to a medium four-story multi-family apartment complex with light haze of smoke and started the investigation with Medic 17. Firefighters found a small fire in a first floor unit on the Alpha side and assigned Engine 2 to pull a 1 3/4 line from Engine 17 to the fire unit. The fire was quickly contained to the fire unit with no extension. Medic 16 transported one patient to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
