West Metro House Fire

On November 30th, 2025 around 14:50 West Metro Fire Rescue and Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 3200 block of Tabor Court in Applewood. Jeffcom 911 advised that several callers reporting flames in the back of the home with nobody answering the door and appears nobody is home. Engine 17 arrived to a medium two-story residential structure with smoke showing from the Charlie side and pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack with Medic 17.  Engine 2 secured the water supply from the hydrant from W. 32nd Place and Tabor Court to Engine 17. Tower 2 arrived and split crews with force entry to the front guard door with the primary search and secure the electrical wiring in the back that may be causing the fire. Engine 5 pulled a 2nd line off Engine 17 to the inside and checked for extension to the attic. Crews found heavy fire in the Alpha-Bravo corner of the attic and Engine 2 pulled another line off Engine 17 to the attic for fire attack. Crews got the fire under control and started an extended overhaul. No injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
