At 22:39 on June 6th, 2026 Douglas Regional 911 Communications Center dispatched Castle Rock Fire & Rescue Department to a second working structure fire within a four-hour period in the 2900 block of Echo Park Drive in the Crystal Valley neighborhood. 911 callers reported to the Douglas Regional 911 Communications Center that a garage fire was engulfing a home. First arriving Engine 152 found the three-car garage fully involved with flames lapping up the second floor and an SUV burning on the driveway. E152 stretched a 2.5” for transitional attack and secured a water supply. Once the main body of fire was darkened down a 1 3/4 line was used to complete extinguishment. All searches of the interior were clear and no injuries occurred.
