On July 13th, 2026 around 13:00 Monument Fire Protection District responded to a reported outside fire at I-25 and mile marker 158, south of Baptist Rd. Mutual-aid was requested from several fire departments. The fire was held to 4 acres. No reported injuries and the fire is under investigation.
