
Glendale South Birch Street 2nd Alarm Fire
Denver 2nd Alarm Apartment Fire
On April 23rd, 2026 around 11:00 Denver 911 Communications Center dispatched Denver Fire Department to a multi-family structure fire in the 1100 block of S. Birch St. in Glendale. Crews arrived to a 3-story apartment building with heavy fire conditions with fire in the basement auto exposing up to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors and the roof and a 2nd alarm for additional resources was requested. Crews began an aggressive fire attack and conducted building searches. Multiple victims were trapped on the roof and were rescued. All victims that were evaluated at the scene were released.
