North Metro Garage Fire

On May 28th, 2026 around 12:40 North Metro Fire Rescue District, Westminster Fire Department, Thornton Fire Department and Federal Heights Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 1300 block of W. 101st Place in Northglenn. Engine 6 arrived on scene of a two-story single-family residential with a working fire and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack. Battalion 62 arrived and assumed command and requested a major incident tone. Truck 62 arrived and was assigned with the primary search of all floors and Medic 62 with medical. Engine 72 worked on the water supply and Engine 4 started force entry of the garage door. The fire was put under control quickly and crews started an extensive overhaul and investigation. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Northglenn Police Department and North Metro Fire Rescue District
