South Adams Structure Fire

On May 6th, 2026 around 04:00 South Adams County Fire Department, Thornton Fire DepartmentBrighton Fire Rescue District and Platte Valley Ambulance Service responded to a possible structure fire in the 9900 block of E. 104th Ave. in Adams County. Engine 26 arrived on scene and made entry to find a double-wide trailer well involved on the Delta side and pulled a line in for fire attack. Battalion 21 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy and requested a major incident tone. Engine 27 arrived and started the primary search, Truck 24 went to the roof with the master stream and Ambulance 27 with rehab. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started the overhaul. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
