Beer Truck Rollover

Around 12:30 on December 29th, 2008 Fairmount Fire Protection District responded to a semi that overturned off the eastbound entrance ramp onto I-70 from Hwy. 58. Crews arrived to find a semi tractor-trailer on it’s side. The truck lost control and rolled on it’s side at the sharp turn to I-70. The accident shut down Hwy. 58. ramp until around 17:00. The truck was hauling beer from the Coors Brewery, and the cargo of beer was spread on the highway and over the embankment onto Youngfeild St. The driver was reported to be not injured.
