On March 22, 2009 the Clifton Fire Protection District was dispatched to a reported grass fire near the I-70 Business Loop and F. Road. Units arrived on scene and found a small, slow moving grass fire that was not threatening any structures. Units were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported, no structures were damaged and the cause is under investigation.
