Loveland Dive Call

At 21:33 on June 28th, 2012 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority with Berthoud Fire Protection District, Estes Valley Fire Protection DistrictLarimer County Dive Rescue Team initially responded to the private pond across from Fairgrounds Park, 710 S. Railroad Ave. after receiving a 911 call of parties in the water. The caller heard a boy screaming for help from the island center of the pond. At approximately 22:30 rescue personnel recovered two parties from the water who were taken to local hospitals with full trauma team activations, and one young boy was also rescued, and walked from the rescue boat on his own. The two victims were later pronounced dead. Additional information provided by Loveland Fire Rescue
