Denver West Tractor Trailer Fire

At 21:52 on June 13th, 2013 West Metro Fire Rescue & Pleasant View Fire Department responded to a possible semi on fire at eastbound I-70 at Denver West. Engine 41 arrived to find a working tractor trailer on fire, and pulled a line for fire attack. Engine 6 arrived and pulled in a second line, and Engine 2 set-up as traffic safety. Crews got the fire out at 22:28 with an extended overhaul required and the cause is under investigation.
