Live Fire Training

Adams County Fire Rescue conducted several live fire training exercises at their fire training tower on E. 68th Ave. on August 2nd, 2014. In addition to the live fire training scenarios, firefighters worked on decontamination and rehab procedures in an effort to improve safety and reduce associated medical problems after a fire. Adams County Fire Rescue was formed by a merger between North Washington Fire Rescue District & Southwest Adams County Fire Protection District. The training allows the firefighters from the two former departments to to hone their skills and practice working tighter as one big department.
