Around 02:00 on January 4th, 2014 Thornton Fire Department and North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire in the 4800 block of E. 131st Pl. Engine 74 & Medic 74 arrived to two-story single-family dwelling with smoke showing, and started fire attack in the offensive strategy. Engine 75 arrived and assigned to primary search with Medic 75. Command requested a major incident tone. Engine 63 pulled a line for exposures and Engine 73 started ventilation. Crews got the fire under control quickly. No other information is available at this time.
