Denver Rowhome Fire

At 22:00 on January 8th, 2015 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 1100 block of 34th St. in the River North Art District. Engine 3 arrived with smoke showing from the upper level unit of a two-story building, and laid in from 34th St. & Arapahoe St. Engine 10 secured their water supply, and Engine 9 established a secondary water supply from 34th St. & Lawrence St. Engine 3 advanced a line inside the fire unit to the second floor and quickly knocked a smoldering fire. Tower 9 arrived and assigned to check the exposures and Tower 4 as RIT. Chief 2 arrived and took over command, with a primary search completed in the fire occupancy and the exposures all proved negative. Crews started ventilation of the fire unit as well as the neighboring unit. The cause is under investigation with no reported injuries. Additional information proved by Denver Fire Department
