Denver Water Recovery

At approximately 09:00 on July 25th, 2015 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a possible water rescue in the South Platte River near the 5100 block of Franklin St.  The rescue mission soon changed to a recovery.  Bikers along a nearby trail spotted a body in the water and called 911. Firefighters were able to secure the body in a litter and lift it up onto a nearby train bridge using the Tower 27. No other information was released.
