I-70 Semi Fire

Just after 13:00 on July 23rd, 2015 West Metro Fire Rescue & Pleasant View Fire Department responded to a possible MVA and vehicle fire at I-70 & Denver West Parkway. Engine 5 arrived to a fully involved semi on fire, and pulled a line in for fire attack. Engine 41 arrived and advised dispatch that is was not a accident, and also that vegetation was on fire in the median. Crews got the fire under control and the driver was transported with unknown injuries to a local hospital.
