Arvada Apartment Fire

At 18:16 on March 19th, 2016 Arvada Fire Protection District was dispatched to a possible apartment fire in the 9600 block of W. 51st Pl. with multiple 911 calls. Engine 51 arrived and found an exterior brush on fire extending to the structure, and stretched a 1 3/4 attack line in the offensive strategy. Battalion 51 arrived and took over command, assigned Truck 56 to check for extension to the next door units, and Engine 52 established a water supply. Crews were able to get the fire out quickly, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
