Boulder Rural Pancake Breakfast

The Boulder Rural Fire Protection District held a pancake breakfast on September 30th, 2017 and the community came out to meet with firefighters, check out the apparatus and enjoy breakfast. The event served as a fundraiser for the Cy-Young Volunteer Fire Department in Texas, whose department and members were severely impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Recruits from Boulder Mountain, Hygiene, Louisville, Nederland, and Rocky Mountain, attending the Boulder County Firefighter Academy and the Colorado State Patrol also assisted with the event.
