Denver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 4655 Claude Court around 17:20 May 15th 2017. A large, dark plume of smoke could be seen from around the city. Firefighters arrived on scene within minutes and found two fully engulfed vehicles under a carport behind the residence. A plywood fence across the alley was also ablaze. Crews went to work quickly with Engine 9 approaching from the north and Engine 10 working up from the south. The fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes. Crews remained on scene another half an hour for overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
