February 17th, 2017 at approximately 14:30 Denver Fire Department responded to a confined space rescue at Denver City Lofts, 1742 Champa Street. A subject told authorities that he fell into a chimney while having a cigarette on the roof. DFD’s Technical Rescue Team responded to the scene and spent about two hours cutting into the wall and removing the victim from the chimney. The patient was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
