Fatal Train Accident

At 19:45 on July 21st, 2018 Brighton Fire Rescue District & South Adams County Fire Department responded to a train that hit a person on the tracks in the area of E. 124th Ave. & Highway 85 in Henderson. Truck 53 arrived on scene with a victim and reported a confirmed DOA. The train is a Cheyenne Frontier Days Train (Union Pacific Steam Locomotive No. 844), no passengers on the train were reported injured and were taken back to Denver by busses. The cause is under investigation.
