Douglas County Residential Fire

South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 12268 Fourth Street in unincorporated Douglas County at approximately 10:45 am on January 8th, 2018. The first arriving units found smoke and fire coming from the residence and went to work quickly. Tender operations were set up to supply water to the scene. A dog and snake died as a result of the fire. No other injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
