Livermore Training Day

The Livermore Fire Protection District conducted ladder training at Livermore Elementary School on September 1st, 2018.  The training served as a refresher to hone their firefighters’ ground ladder skills.  Additionally, the department had on hand their new Engine 1, a 1991 Pierce Dash that previously served with the Golden Fire Department.

Golden dedicated the engine to Thomas Young who was paralyzed from the neck down in July 1990 during the rescue of a downed hang glider pilot.
