West Metro Brush Fire

At 10:25 on November 21st, 2018 JeffCom alerted West Metro Fire Rescue Engine 11 & Brush 11 to a outside fire in the area of 1700 W. Belleview Ave. in the Willow Springs subdivision, with multiple calls of a possible brush fire. Engine 11 arrived to confirmed brush fire off Willow Springs Dr. west of C-470 and Highway 285, and request additional units. Crews started fire attack on a one acre fire, and requested a water tender. Crews got the fire out at 11:19 and started extended mop up with hot spots, and Indian Hills Tender 376 was cancelled in staging at Station 11. The fire was determined to be accidentally caused, and burned three acres with no structures threatened.
