Polar Plunge 2019

Despite six inches of fresh snow and extremely cold water temperatures, hundreds of people gathered at Aurora Reservoir on February 23rd, 2019 for the Polar Plunge.  Several firefighters from Aurora Fire Rescue were on hand to keep those “Freezin for a Reason” safe.  Proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics Colorado.

Units on Scene:  Battalion 3, Engine 10, Engine 13, Rescue 7,  Falck Ambulance and Aurora Rangers
