Aurora Semi Rollover

At 11:54 on June 3rd, 2019 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a semi rollover at the Smith Rd. & Moline St. Aurora 911 Emergency Communications advised that 2 different 911 callers passing by, one caller stated they could see fluid on the ground and items that had spilled from the cargo box, and this brought a full haz-mat compliment from station 2. Medic 101 arrived to a semi on its side and checked for patient care, and Engine 1 arrived on scene and initiated blocking. Battalion 1 arrived on scene and cancelled the Denver Fire Department units that were also arriving on scene, with the jurisdiction being in Aurora. Crews found some fuel from the saddle tanks on the ground. No injuries were reported and with no other vehicles were involved. Crews secured the rig and offloaded fuel from the saddle tanks of the tractor until around 14:00. The accident is under investigation.
