Denver Apartment Fire

At 22:17 on October 8th, 2019 Denver Fire Department responded to a possible apartment on fire on the 4th floor of 1430 N. Humboldt St. in Capitol Hill. Truck 8 arrived on scene to a 5-story multi-family apartment building with fire showing from the 4th floor on the Charlie side. Engine 1 arrived and pulled a back-up line in on the Charlie side, and Engine 8 arrived and pulled a line in and assisted with fire attack with Truck 8 with a fully involved apartment on the 4th floor. Crews got the fire knocked, and all searches negative. The 4th floor was deemed uninhabitable, and American Red Cross was requested to the scene to assist with residents that were displaced in 8 units. Crews worked an extensive overhaul.
