South Metro/Aurora MVA

At 19:20 on June 15th, 2019 South Metro Fire Rescue and Aurora Fire Rescue were dispatched separately to a motor vehicle accident at E. County Line Rd. & S. Powhaton Rd. The initial response was upgraded as information arrived that the accident involved a head-on collision with a vehicle that rolled over and possible fatality on scene. Engine 47 arrived to two vehicles on their wheels. Additional investigation of the scene revealed a total of three patients on scene, one of which was in cardiac arrest. No extrication was needed, however a line was stretched off of Engine 47 due to fire concerns. Medic 23 transported one trauma arrest patient emergent with additional Aurora firefighters. Medic 106 and Medic 251 each transported one patient non-emergent.
