South Metro Gas Leak

At approximately 16:05 on June 17th, 2019 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported gas leak at 16990 Hinsdale Rd. in Centennial. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a heavy flame coming from a ruptured gas line. Firefighters monitored the scene while Xcel worked to crimp the line and neutralize the leak. The road was closed for approximately 2 hours. No injuries were reported.
