2nd Alarm Commercial Fire

Just after midnight on July 6th, 2019 Westminster Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at W. 91st Ave & Marshall St. with a possible explosion. Crews arrived to heavy fire and flames through the roof, and a second alarm was struck with mutual-aid from Arvada Fire Protection DistrictNorth Metro Fire Rescue DistrictAdams County Fire Rescue. Crews worked heavy fire conditions with a partial collapse, and aerial master stream operations were set-up in the defensive mode. Crews got control of the fire with-in an hour, and on scene for several more hours with an extensive overhaul. No injuries were report and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Westminster Police Department shut down all roads in the area and secured the scene.
