Arvada Structure Fire

On December 30th, 2020 around 18:30 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue responded to the 6700 block of Newland St. on a possible residential structure fire. Truck 54 arrived to nothing showing and pulled 1 3/4 line for primary search, rescue and fire control. Medic 55 established the water supply to Truck 54, and Engine 51 arrived and assisted with fire attack. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy, and crews got a interior fire out quickly and the rest of the response was cancelled. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
