Arvada House Fire
At 13:02 on March 7th, 2020 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District & West Metro Fire Rescue was alerted to a structure fire at 5280 Tabor St. Rescue 52 arrived to a two-story residential structure with a working fire and smoke showing from the roof on the Charlie side, established their own water supply and pulled 1 3/4 line in for search rescue and fire control with Medic 52 in the offensive strategy. Battalion 52 arrived and took over command on the Alpha side, and assigned Truck 54 to pull a 2nd line off Rescue 52 to division 1 and assist crews with fire control and search. Medic 56 arrived and assigned as medical, Engine 58 assisted interior crews with locating the fire, and Battalion 30 as safety on the Charlie side. Crews got the fire out quickly and crews conducted overhaul. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. The house was vacant for remodeling therefore no occupants were displaced.
