Brighton Commercial Fire

On December 28th, 2020 around 04:30 Adcom dispatched Brighton Fire Rescue District Engine 52 to an outside smoke investigation in the 100 block of E. Bridge St. Engine 52 arrived in the area and started the investigation. Upon further investigation Engine 52 found smoke showing from the roof of a single-story commercial building and started a full structure fire response. Engine 52 established their own water supply, pulled a 1 3/4 for primary search and fire control on the Brava-Charlie corner. Tower 51 went to the roof, and Engine 55 assisted with fire attack and pulled a 2nd line. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command, assigned Engine 53 as RIT and Engine 27 to back-up Engine 55 on the Alpha side. Command request 2 more engines to the scene. The fire was put out and crews started overhaul. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.
