
South Metro Settlers Drive House Fire
South Metro House Fire
At 05:40 on December 25th, 2020 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 11400 block of Settlers Dr. in unincorporated Douglas County. When Battalion Chief 4 arrived on scene, he found smoke and flames on the backside of the house. Engine 41 stretched an 1 3/4 hose line for fire attack. Because of the heavy fire conditions, the fire extended into the attic space. Crews searched the house and used hooks to continue checking for further extension. Firefighters were able to gain control of the fire and ventilated the structure. The residents were able to evacuate safely. No injuries to report. The cause is being investigated by SMFR Investigators. Additional information was provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
