On February 15th, 2021 at 21:14 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue to a possible structure fire in the 6600 block of W. 61st Ave. Jeffcom advised that 911 caller reporting that the fire is an outside fire, and has spread to the structure. Battalion 51 arrived on scene in command to a working fire in the backyard involving a garage with a large amount of fire in the offensive strategy. Crews worked heavy fire with extension into the home. The fire was put under control and crews started an extended overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported. American Red Cross was requested. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
