Station 3 Grand Opening

The Fort Lupton Fire Protection District held a grand opening and open house at their new Station 3 at 2479 S. Rollie Ave. on August 28th, 2021. The community came out to welcome the new fire station, tour the station, commemorative grand opening t-shirts, goodies. and view the fire apparatus that will be serving the area. The new station is a single-story with 13,500 square foot including eight bunk rooms, fitness room, four offices, conference room, day room, dining room, kitchen, three drive through bays with auxiliary spaces. The station will be staffed on September 11th, 2021 with one Engine, Reserve Engine, Brush, Tender and the newer all-terrain tracked Hagglunds BV206 for rescues in the winter months. Banner Health Paramedics, Brighton Fire Rescue District, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Galeton Fire Protection District, Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue and AirLife were also on hand for the event.
