Clear Creek Canyon MVA

On July 24th, 2021 Jeffcom (Central Fire Dispatch (CNF) dispatched Golden Fire Department to a single vehicle rollover crash in Hwy. 6 (Clear Creek Canyon) at mile marker 268. Rescue 21 arrived to one vehicle in the creek, with one of the occupants self-extricated with the help of bystanders. The other occupants required extrication from the vehicle. Once extricated, personnel utilized the banana boat to bring the injured person to the roadway. Both occupants were transported to a local trauma center with undisclosed injuries. No rescue personnel were injured during this incident. Additional information provided by Golden Fire Department
