Palmer Lake Commercial Fire

At approximately 12:15 on February 1st, 2021 Palmer Lake Fire Department, Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District, and Wescott Fire Protection District were dispatched to the 105 Social Club, at 75 State Hwy. 105 in Palmer Lake for a possible commercial structure fire. Engine 2015 advised heavy smoke showing and upgraded the incident to a working fire. Engine 2015 arrived and found smoke showing for the 2nd floor of the structure and began fire attack, as well as requested mutual aid from Black Forest Fire Protection District and Larkspur Fire Protection District. Once the fire was extinguished crews began an extensive overhaul. A total of 8 people were displaced by this fire and is under investigation by the Palmer Lake Fire Department and the Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District.
