At approximately 19:29 on July 26th, 2021 Pleasant View Fire Department responded to an outside fire at Westblade Park, 16780 Mt. Vernon Rd. in West Pleasant View. Jeffcom (Central Fire Dispatch (CNF) advised that 911 caller reporting flames showing from the eastside of the park. Truck 41 enroute with smoke visible and requested Golden Fire Department to assist. Truck 41 arrived to a 30×30 grass fire. Brush 41 arrived assigned with fire attack with Engine 25. Crews got the fire quickly contained and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Pleasant View Fire Department
