E-470 Brush Fire

On October 9th, 2021 at 15:00 Sable Altura Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire off E-470 on E. 56th Ave. by Jackson Gap. Brush Truck 41 arrived to a 100×100 brush fire moving east and requested additional tender to the scene. Chief 42 requested the full East I-70 Corridor automatic-aid agencies to also respond. Brush 91 arrived and stared fire attack, Tender 91 and Tender 92 set-up with water supplies. Brush 81 arrived and assisted Engine 16 off E-470 with fire attack. Crews got the fire under control at 15: 52 and worked on hot spots for an extended time. No injuries were reported and the fire cause is under investigation.
