Westminster Attic Fire

At 06:07 on January 12th, 2020 Westminster Fire Department with auto-aid from Adams County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire in the 7400 block of Irving St. Engine 1 and Medic 1 arrived first on scene to a working fire in the attic of a one-story single-family residential. Engine 1 secured their own water supply and pulled a 1 3/4 line for attack operations in the offensive strategy. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command. Medic 2 set up for rehab. Crews remained on scene checking for hotspots. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no injuries were reported.
