Arapahoe County East Princeton Place Structure Collapse
South Metro Structure Collapse
At approximately 21:30 on February 26th, 2022 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure collapse in the 20900 block of E. Princeton Place in Arapahoe County. A portion of the first floor collapsed into the basement with 100 to 150 juveniles inside attending a party. Three people were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Firefighters spent about two hours shoring the residence to prevent further collapse. Additionally, a natural gas leak occurred as a result of the collapse which was quickly mitigated. The American Red Cross was called to assist the displaced residents.
