Arvada Structure Fire

On April 3rd, 2022 at 21:31 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue and Fairmount Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 5300 block of Carr St. JeffCom reporting visible smoke from unit and the roof of the building. Engine 51 arrived on scene to a three-story apartment building with visible smoke from the roof, pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack, search rescue and fire control with Medic 51. District 1 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha side in the offensive strategy. Truck 54 arrived and started roof ops and laddered the Bravo side with visible fire from the 3rd floor. Rescue 52 assigned with primary search and assist with fire control, Engine 16 with the water supply to Engine 51 and Medic 16 as medical. Tower 56 arrived and assigned as RIT. The fire was put under control at 21:48 and crews started ventilation and overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the fire unit was unoccupied and no injuries reported.
