Arvada Structure Fire

On April 22nd, 2022 at 20:32 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue and Fairmount Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 10300 block of W. 59th Place. Jeffcom advised that multiple callers reporting possible explosions and two structures on fire. Rescue 52 enroute with flames showing from W. 58th Ave. & Oak St. Battalion Chief 51 arrived to a working fire from two units with heavy flames being pushed by high winds on the Charlie side. Rescue 52 arrived and pulled a line in for fire attack. Tower 56 secured the water supply and pulled a 2nd line in on the Bravo side and started the primary search. Engine 53 assigned to pulled a 1 3/4 with fire attack from the alley and Truck 54 with ventilation. Crews worked very quickly and the fire was contained to only two units within the 4 unit row house. Everyone safely evacuated, with no injuries and a few animals were rescued. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The American Red Cross was dispatched to provide resources to those displaced by the fire. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
