Aurora Structure Fire

On December 8th, 2022 at approximately 20:23 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to an outside fire in the 1700 block of N. Akron St. Engine 1 arrived on scene with smoke and fire coming from the backyard of the residence and found the fence fully involved along with various other debris. Engine 1 made fire attack from the alley while Engine 2 made fire attack from the Alpha side. Fire was quickly put under control and with no extensions to nearby structures. No injuries were reported and the cause of fire was from a campfire.
