Truck 35 Opening Ceremony

Denver Fire Department’s Truck 35 is now officially in service! Airport and city officials attended a brief ceremony at Denver International Airport Station 35 on April 18th, 2022. After remarks from Chief Desmond Fulton and other dignitaries, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held and Truck 35 was pulled out onto the apron and put through its paces. The addition of Truck 35 at DIA will improve response times along Pena Boulevard, the airport’s south cargo campus, the Jeppesen Terminal and the Westin Hotel. Station 35, located at 25365 E. 75th Ave. is now a two company station housing Engine 35, Truck 35, Mini 35, the Dangerous Goods Response Team and a snowcat. Officials from the Denver Fire Department, Denver Health Paramedics, Denver International Airport, Denver Police Department and the Denver Sheriff’s Department attended the event.
