Golden Structure Fire

At 20:33 on February 27th, 2022 Golden Fire Department and Stadium Medical with auto-aid from Pleasant View Fire Department responded to a possible structure in the 2200 block of Illinois St. Jeffcom (Central Fire Dispatch – CNF) advised RP reporting fire started in the chimney and has spread. Medic 21 arrived to smoke showing, and Engine 21 arrived and sized-up a small single-story single-family dwelling with light smoke showing from the attic and all occupants out. Engine 21 established their own water supply and Truck 41 assigned to the roof. Battalion 23 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha side in the offensive strategy. Crews found fire in the chimney which was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by Golden Fire Department and Pleasant View Fire Department
